NEST RUN EGGS
Prices are from Egg Clearinghouse, Inc., (ECI) Durham,
N.H. and reflect trading prices for gradeable nest run eggs.
(GNR) on ECI, a nationwide trading center for producers,
packers and marketers. GNR eggs are classified by weight in
SKdozen cases, and traded in lots of either 300 or 750 cases.
Prices are FOB buyers dock, and are computed Tuesday and
Thursday of each week. This week’s prices for each
classification were:

Dairy Replacement Price
Report
SUMMARY FOR AUGUST. 1974
There were approximately 490 dairy replacement cattle
reported on of which an estimated 405 bead were native
(Pennsylvania) and 85 head were imported. This com
pared with a total of 480 head for July, 1974.
Compared with the July, 1974 report, the market was
slow to Moderate. Cows were highly uneven, $125 higher to
$175 lower. Heifers were uneven to mostly $25 higher.
