“We hope to eventually
make the cloth here for our
garments,” said Ms. Daphne
Wilcox, director of in
terpretation. Along with her
many tasks at the plantation,
Ms. Wilcox spends hours
pouring over 18th century
cookbooks for recipes to try
out.
