Steers opened the week 2.00-
3.00 higher, some uneveness
thereafter. High Choice and
Prime steers experienced a
loss of 50-75 although
Standard and Good Holsteins
closed an additional 1.00-2.00
higher. Cows opened the
week 1.00-2.00 higher and
experienced additional
advances throughout the
week and by the weeks close
were 5.00-6.00 higher. Bulls
closed the week 3.00-4.00
higher. Bullocks were fully
steady throughout most of
the week but closed 2.00-4.00
higher. Supply included an
estimated SO per cent
slaughter steers, 20 per cent
cows, 15 per cent bulls with
the balance mainly feeder
steers.
