Merrimaids
A regular meeting of the
Lampeter - Strasburg
Merrimaids was held on
Monday at the Martin
Meylin Jr. High School.
Twenty members responded
to roll call by naming their
favorite flower.
Queen contestants selected
were: Junior Queen, Jewel
Hess and senior Carol
Myers. Plans were made for
a Fashion Show to be held on
Monday July 29th.
Carol Martin gave a
demonstration on the proper
way to clean and polish
shoes.

4-H Club
Penn Willow 4-H Club
recently held its monthly
meeting at the Conestoga
Pool for a swimming party.
Approximately 60 mem
bers and leaders attended
the meeting. The yearly club
trip was discussed. The club
decided on a trip to Hershey
Park to be held August 9.
Junior and senior queens
were also elected. Kim Fritz
as junior queen and Gail
Reish as senior.

A joint bank account is one
in which one person puts the
money in and the other takes
the money out
questions on all phases of horse care,
feeding, and management. Team
members from left to right are Len
Matroni, Cherri Gochnauer, Dr. Earl
Weber, team coach, Judi Anderson,
and Jenny Weber.

Thimbles 4-H Club met

round-up which will be held
