A registered Holstein cow owned by Lenape Dairy Farm,
in Chester County completed the highest 305 day lactation.
381 produced 20,423 pounds of milk, 820 pounds of fat with a
4.0 percent test.
Second ’high lactation was completed by a Registered
Holstein cow owned by Ronald F. Elliot. Bobbie produced
19,665 pounds of milk, 764 pounds of fat and recorded at 3.9
percent test.
The herd of Jacob Stoltzfus had the highest daily butterfat
average. The herd of 53.3 Holstein cows produced 51.1 pounds
»f milk, 2.07 pounds butterfat witha 4.1 percent test.
The Holstein herd of Donald Hostetter, Jr. was second high
with 80.2 cows producing 53.2 pounds of milk, 2.02 pounds of
butterfat and had a recorded test of 3.8 percent.
