This compared with a total of 500 head for April, 1974. Compared with the April, 1974 report, the market was moderate to active, mostly active. Cows were mostly $5O to $l5O lower. Heifers were mostly steady to mostly $5O lower, REPORTER COMMENTS: Demand slow for fresh cows, due to financial troubles of some dairies.
