Butz and Secretary of the Interior Rogers C. B. Morton. Now going into its fourth year, the Youth Con servation Corps (YCC) program will this summer for the first time Include state-operated projects in addition to the 178 con servation corps camps on U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Sports Fisheries and Wildlife and the National Park Service. For this first summer of state participation in the YCC program, $3 million in grant funds have been made available to the states for cost-share projects on non federal public lands and waters.
