H Club met at the Lebanon
Municipal Building with 10
members and the adult
leader, Fred Hoff, present.

president, conducted the
business session. Insurance
papers and enrollment
sheets were filled out. 4-H

project books were given
out. Hoff talked about the
new rules, that would be in
affect for the district horse
show in Cumberland County,
and at the County 4-
H Horse and Pony Roundup
at the tebanon Fairgrounds.
Places to' go and mure
interesting programs were
discussed for future
meetings. The next meeting
is planned for June 13, at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Luke
Smith.
Garden
Spot 4-H
The second meeting of the
Garden Spot Community 4-H
Club was held at Conestoga
Valley High School. Don
Bratton, Industrial Arts
teacher at the school gave a
talk on the tools that could be
used for the Handyman
project. He also showed
slides of possible projects. A
tour of the shop was given.
Lewis Mengle gave a
demonstration on his
camera.
The next meeting will be
June. 11 at the home of
George Curry, 76 Linda Ave.
at 7:30 p.m.
4-H Raiders
The Lincoln Community 4-
H Club held their monthly
meeting on May 21 at the
Walter Aug§burger farm.
Andy Augsburger gave a
demonstration on
beekeeping and Arnold
Lueck showed slides and
gave a talk on preparing and
