Increasing international participation in the Royal Agricultural Show has been a key note in its success. This July, seven governments will stage wide ranging displays of their agricultural products. Governments officially participating are France, German Federal Republic, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain and the Canadian State of Saskatchewan. Academy of Science Elects New Dr. Charles W. Rutschky, 111, of State College has been elected president of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science. The occasion was the 50th anniversary meeting of the Academy held recently at Bloomsburg State College. Professor of Entomology at The Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Rutschky will serve as president for two years. The Academy of Science is a non-profit society dedicated to the encouragement of scientific activities in the Com monwealth. The Academy’s goals include a program to discover scientific ability in Pennsylvania youth at the secondary school and college levels.
