Report
SUMMARY FOR APRIL, 1974
There were approximately 500 dairy replacement cattle
reported on of which an estimated 465 head were native
(Pennsylvania) and 35 head were imported. This compared
with a total of 1052 head for March, 1974.
Compared with the March, 1974 report, the market was
active to very active. Cows were quite uneven, ranging $2OO
higher to $lOO lower, averaging mostly steady to $25 lower.
