The slide presentation,
available with soundtrack on
cassette, is designed to help
consumers understand the
relationship between the
amount of energy they use in
their daily routine and the
amount needed to grow their
food supply. It stresses the
critical need farmers have
for a constant supply of
energy, from fuels to run
tractors and to warm baby
chicks to fertilizers to make
plants grows. “Fuel for
Food” explains why farmers
need to be sure their fuel and
energy requirements will be
met throughout the food and
fiber production cycle.
The presentation was
developed with the aid of the

‘Rights’ for Retarded
For many years parents of
the mentally retarded have
been requesting a document
to understand the legal
rights of their mentally
retarded children. The
Pennsylvania Association
for Retarded Citizens has
just compiled and published
a very succinct reference
booklet designed to assist
parents in identifying ap
propriate services and
programs that they need.
A special committee of
professionals from the
service area and the legal
field has worked for two
years in developing the
one hundred page manual
entitled, “Legal Rights of the
Mentally Retarded.” For
