Red Rose 4-H Baby Beef and Lamb Club was held on Wednesday night April 4. The next meeting will be May 1. The first matter of business was the electing of County Council Represen tatives. They are as follows: Joe Lefever, Ken Longnecker, Gary Brubaker, Steve Donough, and Nancy Herr as alter nate. A letter will be sent to the members pertaining to the schedule of the meetings and activities. Another point which was brought up was that any member missing more than three meetings without a good excuse will be ineligible for PA. Farm Show. Lucie Brubaker presented a fine demonstration titled “How To Give A Demon stration.” Gerald Hess reminded all members that their steers should be tame for the freeze branding coming up in June. Any member interested in going to a Showmanship and Fitting clinic on April 18 in New Star Silver Spurs 4-H The Silver Spurs 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on April 5 at Lori and Bob May’s The meeting started with a lecture and movie by Raymond Pruss for the Ralston Purina Co. The president, Randy Click then led the club pledge. Roll call was taken and dues collected by junior treasurer, Sue Baker. Her report was given followed by the secretary’s report by Jim Click. Show committees were chosen for our annual show August 18 at the Lancaster Riding club. E-Town The Elizabethtown Area Pig and Rabbit 4-H Club held its reorganization meeting on April 4, 1974, at the West Donegal Twp. Polling Building. Local leader Warren Heisey opened the meeting. the evening at York, contact Max Smith. The club is planning on taking a bus. The program for the evening was a panel talk which dealt with problems 4- H members have in raising the steers. The panel members were Conrad Grove, Carl Herr and Tony Debrosky.
