In dairy production, Steve
Donough took the sheep
award and Dave White was
the winner in beef. A farm
safety award went to Dale
Martin, Ruby Cinder took
the public speaking honor,

During the meeting, three
individuals were inducted
into the chapter as honorary
chapter farmers. They were
Joseph E. McSparran,
Manheim Central Senior
High School principal,

Norman Weaver, president
of the Manheim National
Bank.
The chapter’s citation
awards went to Lancaster
Farming Newspaper and
Shotzberger’s Farm

appreciation were presented

Cloister FFA
Cloister FFA held their
Twelfth Annual Banquet last
Friday night at the Mt. Airy
Fire Hall. Approximately 170
members, parents, and
guests attended. John

master. The program
featured “The New
Creations”.

Pequea Valley held their
18th annual parent-son
banquet on Thursday of this
week in the high school
cafeteria. The Chapter Star
Farmer award went to Don
Miller. Tom Denlinger won
the Star Red Rose award,
Fred Leaman was named
Star Chapter Farmer and
'Elvin Weaver took the Star
Greenhand award.
The Lancaster County
Bankers Association award
for the outstanding senior
went to Jere Skfles, while
Carl Caskey was named to
receive the DeKalb Most
Valuable Member prize.
