Hostetler had the highest daily but terfat average. This herd of 71.0 cows averaged 53.5 pounds of milk, 2.08 pounds of butterfat with a 3.9 percent test. Two herds placed second. The herd of Harold G. Bollinger, 50.8 cows, averaged 49.0 pounds milk, 1.96 pounds butterfat, with a 4.0 percent test.
