Vietnam Bonus Applications
Should Be Submitted Now
Applications for the
Vietnam Bonus will not be
accepted after March 28,
1975, the state has an
nounced, and all applications
should be submitted as soon
as possible.
It is estimated that there
are some 30,000 Penn
sylvania Vietnam veterans
who have not yet applied for
the bonus.
Application forms may be
obtained from the
Veterans Affairs Office, 900
E. King St., Lancaster, Pa.
17602, or the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, Vietnam
Conflict Compensation
Bureau, P. 0. Box 2769,
Harrisburg, Pa. 17105.
To be eligible for the
bonus, a veteran must have
been authorized the Vietnam
Service Medal and have
been a legal resident of the
State Giving Exams for
Real Estate Specialists
State civil service
examinations for four levels
of real estate specialists will
be given until further notice,
the State Civil Service
Commission said.

Rosenberry said
examinations for redl estate
specialist I-IV are held daily
at the Commission offices in
Harrisburg. Daily tests are
by appointment only and
require advance
arrangements with the office
-at which the test will be
administered.
Those applying for real
estate specialist I-111 must
have had one to three years
of technical real estate
experience in addition to the
two years of college. Ap
plicants for real estate
specialist IV must have a
bachelor’s degree plus three
years of experience in
technical real estate work.
Equivalent combinations
of experience and training
may be accepted. Applicants
are advised to obtain copies
of the examination an
nouncement for specific
details on position
requirements and ac-
state at the time of entrance
..into the .Armed Forces. It
does not Include any in-
dividual separated from the
Armed Forces under other
than honorable conditions.
Compensation is computed
on the basis of $25 for every
month or major fraction
thereof of active service in
the Vietnam theater of
operation up to a maximum
of $750. Hospital time spent
in the states as a result of
wounds or disease con
tracted in Vietnam is
payable only while the
veteran is in the service.
In the event of death due to
service in the Vietnam
theater, the survivor would
be entitled to $l,OOO payable
to the surviving widow, or
the surviving minor child or
children, or the surviving
parent or parents.
