Weight Indicates Quality The price doesn’t always indicate quality when it comes to bread. In general, the price of a loaf of bread is not a good indicator of its nutritional value. Penn State Extensidn foods and nutrition specialists suggest you look for an enriched white loaf or whole wheat loaf by weight rather than the size of the loaf.
