Feeder supply insufficient
for a market test.
Four day receipts 16,300 as
compared 17,400 previous
week and 15,200 a year ago.
Slaughter steers ap
proximately 49 percent,
heifers 27 percent, fairly
liberal percentage Choice
with many cattle carrying
considerable mud. Cows 15
percent, feeders short 5
percent. After registerings a
50-1.00 price advance on
opening session, trading on
slaughter steers and heifers
turned generally dull and
prices followed a raggedly
lower course.
