There is however a mistake in that article. You indicate in the second paragraph that small grain fields lie idle from the time the crop is harvested in June. Also in the third paragraph, you indicate I recommend planting before June 10. In this area, the small grains are usually not harvested until the begin ning of July, so instead of June in the article, it should be July. On page 22, the date when you start losing one bushel per day delay in planting is June 20 instead of June 10. By no means, am I saying this was your mistake. I well could have made the mistake in my talk. However if we do not correct these dates, farmers will think you and I do not know when small grain is harvested here in Lancaster Co. John 0.
