Karen Weaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Weaver, Quarryville RD2, won with her first place heavyweight steer. Her 1,100-pound steer was sold to Commonwealth National Bank for 64 cents a pound, netting Karen $704. The reserve Hereford cham pion was shown by Betty Reiff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Reiff, Lititz RDI. Her 995-pound steer was sold to Carl Venezia, Conshocken, for 54.5 cents a pound, or $542.27. The champion crossbred steer was exhibited by Howard Stoltzfus, GlenJMoore RDI.
