Tin- jingle appeared in American school books at least a
centiny and a half ago. It is said to have been inspir ’rf by the
official adoption of the Gregorian calendar by England and
\nierua in 1752 -Slightly at variance with the Julian cal
< ndar the jingle aided the memory. But who did it? We
don't hnotv.

Southwest Desert: Generally clear and pleasantly warm all
