Stewart Heads
New Unit For
New Holland
David E. Stewart, 336 Buch
Avenue, New Holland has been
named to head a new marketing
unit for Sperry New Holland
industrial products according to
Howard A. Downey, vice
president for marketing for the
company
Stewart, who will serve the
company as manager of in
dustrial products, will assume his
new post immediately. He will
report directly to Downey and
will have responsibility for
structuring and operating
specialized marketing operations
for the company’s industrial
products line.
In making the announcement,
Downey explained that the
change will separate the com
pany’s marketing organization
with respect to industrial and
agricultural products.
Stewart, who formerly was
product manager for industrial
products, began with the com
pany as a sales trainee in Eastern
Canada in 1962 and moved up to
salesman in 1964. He had also
served the company as branch
training manager and product
development specialist prior to
being named product manager
for industrial products in 1970.
A native of Dereham Centre,
Ontario, Canada and a graduate
of Ingersoll Collegiate Institute,
he is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Reginald Stewart of Ingersoll,
Ontario.
He is married to the former
Jean Langdon of Lakeside,
Ontario. They have three
children.
