Heffner, Pine Grove farmer, was elected to a three year term on the board of directors of Agway Inc. at the annual meeting October 18-19, in Syracuse, N. Y. He represents Agway members in Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Schuylkill Coun ties. With his father, Heffner farms 450 acres, maintaining a 100-cow dairy herd, raising forage crops, grains, and fruit, and operating a roadside market. He is a graduate of the Penn sylvania State University with a bachelor of science in agricultural education and the University of Delaware with a master of science in agricultural economics. He serves on Agway’s Blue Mountain Zone committee.
