— Lancaster Farming, Saturday, October 27. 1973 30 Recipe Exchange HOME Yes, you can freeze per simmons, says Mrs. Anna Arm strong, Drumore RDI. Don’t wash them unless absolutely necessary, as they will get soft. If you wash them, do it carefully, let them drain on paper toweling, wrap in foil, as many as you desire, and freeze. They are delicious to eat just as they are nearly thawed. xxx Mrs. Armstrong also con tributes a recipe for: Persimmon Gelatine 1 envelope unflavored gelatine 14 cup cold water 1 cup hot water l /z cup sugar x k cup persimmon pulp cup coarsely chopped nuts Remove seeds from persimmons while frozen.
