Farmings Saturday, Qctaben >3, WZ3' Fulton Grange Officers Installed Fulton Grange 66 held its semi monthly meeting October 8 at 8 p.m. at the Grange Hall in Oakryn with the Master Richard Holloway conducting the business session. The youth committee reported some 30 young people went on the hayride October 6. The new youth committee will have a bowling party in November. The Women’s Activities committee reported seven cartons of the Pennsylvania State Grange cookbooks have been sold and the Grange voted to get four more cartons as many people are seeking them for Christmas gifts. It was announced that Lan caster County Pomona Grange will hold its fall meeting at the White Horse Fire Hall October 20 at 8 p.m. with Salisbury Grange as host. It will be election of of ficers for a two year term. The Pomona Women’s Activities committee will have a food stand at the Robert Armstrong sale that day also Fulton Junior Grange 343 will hold a “Car Rent-A-Space” for saleable items at Quarryville Memorial Park October 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is the first of its kind in our area. A small fee will be charged for a car space and people can set a table by their car to sell from if they wish. The saleable items will be of a varied nature. For mformation and space reservations phone 548-3162. The Junior Grange will have a food stand in connection with it. Mr. and Mrs. Gyles Brown were elected alternate delegates to the 101st annual session of the Pennsylvania State Grange to be held at Reading October 22 - 25. This session will climax their centennial year celebration. Thomas Galbreath has Fifth and Sixth Degree applications for Grange members of Lancaster County who plan to go October 24. The trustees reported that installation of a new furnace in the Grange Hall is nearly com pleted and it is in use now.
