Basic fun damentals taught include using a sewing machine, choosing correct pattern size, making pattern alterations, selecting and preparing fabric, layout, correct cutting procedures, and sewing techniques used in a sleeveless, collarless garment Classes will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19 and 26. The pledge was recited by all members and roll was called. Dues were collected by the treasurer. Project reports were said The secretary read the minutes from the last meeting. Tim Stauffer read a report. Money for sponsors for the Horse Show were discussed and money was collected. Unfinished business was last minute assignments to jobs not taken as yet, which are gate tenents, parking advisers, setting up tables, trash cans. It was decided that everyone in the club would clean up. A meeting was held at Manor View September 17. The Horse Show is September 30, beginning at 10 a.m. There are 32 classes.
