nccisfer SaWdayl t Septrirfibfer J 15,-1973-- - Lebanon County 4-H’ers Hold Annual Horse Show The Lebanon County 4-H Equestrians Horse and Pony Club held its fifth annual fun show last Saturday at the 4-H Fairgrounds. There were 289 entries in the 22-class show. Officials and helpers at the show donated their time which made it possible for the entry fee charge only $3 for the entire day. The show was open only to 4-H Horse and Pony Club members. Judge for the show was Gary Shenk. Announcer was Rod Curry, and the ringmaster was Clarence Kohr. Help was com prised of club leaders, parents and friends of the club members. Leaders of the Equestrians Club are Dale and Mary Ann Gibble, Mrs. Elaine Gerhart, and Mrs. Irene Kohr. Winner of the grand champion trophy was Patti Krall riding Beauty. The reserve champion was Bob Arnold riding Tabby. Pfizer Inc., and Fuqua In dustries, Inc., announced the completion of the acquisition of Trojan Seed Company by Pfizer from Fuqua. Trojan, a seed com company based in Olivia, Minn., had 1972 sales of more than $l7 million with net earnings of about $1.5 million. The .Trojan business will be conducted by the Pfizer Agricultural Division, reporting to F. B. Johnston, vice president of genetics operations. Johnston is also president of H&N Inc., a poultry breeding organization whose acquisition in 1971 marked Pfizer entry into agricultural genetics.
