Chester County 4-H Dairy Winners Named
The Chester County 4-H Dairy
Roundup was held August 17 at
the Kimberton Fair Grounds.
During the course of the show
the following 4-H members were
recognized for their ac
complishments during the past

In Holstein competition, a two
year-old cow, Bryncoed Astra
Sutre owned by Wendy Shaw,
Chester Springs, was named
grand champion. Reserve
champion was a three-year-old
cow, Winterland Burke Decca
owned by Barry Hostetter, Ox
ford. Susan Pepple, Oxford was
named junior Holstein fitter
showman and Stanley Guest,
Pottstown - senior fitter
showman.
Cathy Wollaston,
Toughkenamon, exhibited both
the champion and reserve
champion Jersey in addition to
receiving the recognition of being
the supreme fitter-showman of
the enitre show. Her champion
Jersey was a seven-year-old cow,
Sage Maple Lawn Connie. Her
four-year-old cow, Liberator
Maple Lawn Cindy, was reserve
champion. Denise Andrien, West
Chester was champion junior
Jersey fitter-showman
Androssan G.L.R. Minerva, an
eight-year-old cow owned by
Edward Henley, Cochranville,
was grand champion Ayrshire.
His sister Sharon, won reserve
champion with her three-year-old
cow, Meredith Bright Laura.
Eddie was also named junior
Ayrshire fitter-showman, and
Sharon, senior fitter-showman.
Grand Champion Guernsey
was Bright side N.L. Wilda Fern,
owned by Marjorie Pyle,
Malvern A senior calf, Kim
berton P Don Cotton, owned by
Clyde Good, Kimberton, was
reserve champion Guernsey.
Jeffrey Staner, Malvern was
junior Guernsey fitter-showman
and Holly Scheib, Phoenixville -
