Lancaster County 4-H members were first
place winners in the Senior Livestock
Judging Contest held at State 4-H Days on
The Pennsylvania State University campus,

at the Southeast region 4-H Dress
Revue held recently at Plymouth
Meeting Mall, Norristown.
As a gold ribbon winner, she
will be one of five 4-H’ers to
represent the region in the State
Dress Revue, August 21-22nd at
The Pennsylvania State
University, University Park
campus.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Harlan Farlow, 402 N. Academy
Drive, Ephrata, Colleen is 16
years old and has been a member
of the Lincoln 4-H Club for eight

As a State Dress Revue par
ticipant, Colleen will model her
green and orange plaid knit
jumpsuit on a special color
telecast originating from the
Penn State campus. The half
hour show will feature all 25 state
participants and be highlighted
by the announcement of the
winner of the state competition.
Two other Lancaster County
Columbia; Ed Hess, Strasburg; Richard
Hess, Strasburg; Joe Lefever, Manheim.
This team will represent Pa. in several
inter-state contests ending with the
National Contest at Chicago, 111.

bons as semi-finalists. They are
Anne Williams, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Williams,
New Holland and Susan Harrold,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.
A. Harrold, New Holland. Both
girls are members of the Garden
Spot 4-H Sewing Club-.
Other Lancaster County girls in
the regional Dress Revue in
cluded Ellen Habegger, Akron;
Marcy Bomberger, Elm; and
Julie Hartranft, Ephrata. Junior
Dress Revue participants who
took part in the afternoon fashion
show are Lois Good, Ephrata and
Kathy Farlow, Ephrata.
Lancaster County 4-H members were first place winners
in the Consumerama Demonstration Contest at State 4-H
Days on The Pennsylvania State University campus, August
6-8. From left are: Anne Spangler, Marietta; Robin
Fellenbaum, Lititz; and Debra Gregory, Lititz. Over 500 4-H
members from throughout the Commonwealth took part in
the various demonstration events. All boys and girls
presenting demonstrations were winners, of county and
regional contests which were held earlier this summer.
