Tractor drivers tested their skills Tuesday during the Lancaster County Conservation Field Days. A third person entering the competition at Hershey, at his own expense, will be David Becker, Mount Joy EDI, a newcomer to the local com petition who placed second in the level land plowing contest. Groff, who won with a small plow, will enter one event while Becker, with a large plow, will enter that event at Hershey. Other winners in the contour plowing contest were Larry Brubaker, Elizabethtown RDI, second, and Earle Haldeman, Elizabethtown RD2, third. In the level land contest, John Risser, Mount Joy RD2, placed third. Following the adult com petition, the 4-H tractor driving maneuver a manure spreader into a small area enclosed by ropes. contest was held with Dudley Rohrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Rohrer, Manheim RDI, the winner. Other winners in the driving contest were Richard Groff, Leola, second; Ronald Molt, Mount Joy RDI, third; Andrew Augsburger, Reinholds RDI, fourth; and Randall Shank, Marietta RDI, fifth.
