Elizabethtown (Continued From Page 1) The blonde, dimpled Miss Harbold, who recently celebrated her 19th birthday during June Dairy Month, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Ray R. Harbold, Elizabethtown RD3. She graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School and is em ployed as a dental assistant in the office of Dr. Werner Fetter, Elizabethtown. The new Dairy Princess is thoroughly familiar with dairying The Harbold family has been in dairying for 24 years. In addition to home chores on the farm, she was a member of the 4- H Dairy Judging team for three years. The team, all girls, went on to national competition where Miss Harbold placed fifth in dividually for her skills in judging. Miss Harbold will represent Lancaster County in the state contest in Harrisburg in Sep tember. Other duties will include appearances at county Farm Show prades and many other public appearances throughout the year on behalf of the dairy industry. The contestants were judged on the basis of appearance, speaking ability, poise, per sonality, intelligence and knowledge of the dairy industry. Judges included Mrs. Pat Erway, Women’s Editor for LAN CASTER FARMING, Gary Martin, agriculture public relations at Sperry New Holland, and Charles Suloff, associate County Agent, Berks County. In the interim of waiting for the judges decision, Miss Donna Book, outgoing Princess, recapped a busy year of activities during her reign as Lancaster County Dairy Princess.
