of about 16 teams. They played at
Philadelphia, Overlook, Valley
Forge and played outside to
practice. They played about 10
years but quit about eight years
ago.
Arthur and Mary Belle both
figure-skated and through this

young people of the Denver area
skated there and had doggie
roasts afterward.
Arthur and Mary Belle’s
children are Michele, Denise and
the twins Stephanie and Stephen.
Michele will be a senior this fall
at East Cocalico High School. She
is a commercial student. She

Arthur and Mary Belle’s family
go to their cabin in Tioga County
every third weekend when they
have off from work. The family
fishes there and Arthur goes
hunting from there for bear, deer
and turkeys. Mary Belle did go
hunting for small game before
the children were born.
Arthur and Mary Belle go
golfing every Wednesday af
ternoon. They did water ski with
friends but recently are more
active with sports the whole
family enjoys together.
Triple G belongs to the Penn
sylvania Farmers Association
and the Holstein-Friesian
Association of America. Arthur is
Township Auditor and on the
Planning Commission. He is also
on the finance committee for the
building of their new church, the
Church Of The Brethren of
Ephrata, near the Middle School.
He and Mrs. Graybill serve on the
chicken barbecue committee
each year for their Sunday School
class. Mrs. Graybill helped in the
church nursery when their
children were small. She
belonged to the PTO when their
children attended Reamstown
Elementary School.
Mary Belle says “I like to work
outside better than inside the
house.” However, she is an ex
cellent housekeeper and cook.
She and the children work in the -
vegetable garden, pick the
vegetables and put them in the
freezer She also buys asparagus
to freeze. They go to her mother’s
home and pick cherries and
apples. She makes jelly every
year. Graybills butcher their own
beef and put it in the freezer.
They usually butcher an animal
born to a first-calf Holstein heifer
which was bred to an Angus.
Graybills have a well kept
lawn. The children mow it and
Mary Belle grows roses,
ageratum, geraniums, petunias,
marigolds, ivy and pansies.
Mary Belle likes to sew and has
been making clothes for the
children and herself. She took an
evening sewing class at the
school She also knits. She made
an afghan, two ponchos, a bag, a
sweater and a baby set of sacque,
booties and cap She received a
blue ribbon at the Jaycee Hobby
Show in Denver for a grey and
red poncho and bag she knit for
her daughter.
Mary Belle learned to make
ceramics at Joan’s Ceramics at
Leola. She has given most of the
pieces as gifts but has a compote
and candlestick set, a pitcher and
bowl set, and ash tray set and
vase to match, a jack-o’-lantern,
a yule log and Christmas trees.
She is making a plate with the
date of birth for each of her
