Havin* decided to discontinue dairying, I wdl sell on my farm, located on
Route No, 414 at Powell, Pa., Bradford County, across road from school house, on
Herd consists of 70 cows, 23 heifers bred or breeding age, 25 started calves
2 to I months old. This is a good herd of cattle, nearly all from artificial
breeding. Many cows fresh m last three months, some close cows and heifers,
some bred for fall and early winter. All cows bred long enough will be preg

Seeks Building
Fund Donors
The Lancaster County
Humane League Building Fund
Chairman, Irl, Baffin, announced
today that “approximately
$52,000 in contributions, allot
ments and pledges has been
received to this date. Another
$45,000 must be raised”, he
continued, “to reach our Building
Fund goal of $97,000”
Clearing of the building site is
presently underway with initial
construction planned in the near
future.
“Over 800 animals have passed
through the Shelter in the first
quarter of 1973,” he said. “267 in
the month of April alone.
Presently facilities are totally
