SMALL 40- 41- 41-49 43-44 Finns Develop Soy Substitute 41%-42% TOO FEW 45-47 Researchers in Finland have developed a protein substitute for soybeans to feed their hogs, cows and chickens, according to a report from the American Dairy Association. The substance, called pekilo protein, is manufactured-from the waste liquor - previously just a water pollutant - that comes from paper pulp mills. Large scale production for livestock feed is expected to start- next year, and it is expected that the product may be used to feed humans in the near future.
