Fold in carrots and bake at 350 degrees about one hour. This is a very moist cake. Zeiset RD2 Narvon xxxx Meat ’n Macaroni Supper ‘/2 cup chopped onions 2 tablespoons butter 1 can cream of celery soup 1 cup tomatoes, cut up Dash of pepper Vi teaspoon thyme 1 cup elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 1 pound hamburger Va'cup chopped green pepper Vi cup grated cheese In skillet, cook onions and hamburger in butter. Stir in the cream of celery soup, tomatoes, thyme and pepper. Add cooked macaroni and green pepper. Put in casserole. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 or 40 minutes or until heated through. Elaine Martin RDI Lititz xxxx Shoo-Fly Pie 1 cup molasses 1 cup hot water 1 egg 1 teaspoon soda ' Beat egg. Add molasses Dissolve soda in hot water, add to egg and molasses. 1 cup Hour 1 cup light brown sugar 2 tablespoons butter or margarine Mix and reserve V 2 cup. Combine the two mixtures and put into an unbaked 9-inch shell and sprinkle reserved % cup crumbs on top.
