Awards Presented at Pequea Valley FFA Banquet
The seventeenth annual received during the
Parent-Son Banquet of the awards program.
Pequea Valley Chapter, Future Receiving the Greenhand
Farmers of America, was held in Degree were Robert Baum,

Members receiving the degree
of Chapter Farmer were Carl
Caskey, Tom Denlinger, John
Beyer, Gordon Hoover, Nelson
Martin and Mike Weir. Tom
Denlinger, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Denlinger, Gap RDI,
was awarded the Star Chapter
Farmer award. Three members
were recognized as Red Rose
Degree recipients. They were
Charles Neff, Donald Miller, and
Jere Skiles.
This years Outstanding Senior
Award, which is presented by the
DeKalb Company, went to Craig
Frey, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Leo
Frey, Ronks RDI. Craig also
received two ribbons for his
tobacco project, which was
shown in Lancaster and at the
State Farm Show.
The 1972 Parliamentary
Procedure Team was recognized
for placing third in the County
Contest last year. Members of
that group include Craig Frey,
Don Miller, Carl Caskey, Mike
Norris, Charles Neff, Jere Skiles,
Tom Denlinger, and Harry
McConville.
