air as pollution,” Mr. Peck
asserted.
He mentioned such energy
conserving building elements
as reflective windows to re
duce air-conditioning loads
and greater insulation thick
nesses. “Though initially
more expensive than stand
ard materials, these products
more than make up the dif
ference in conservation of
heating fuel and the energy
needed for air conditioning,”
he said.
