An additional 30 lbs of fat for lard, bones
and waste further reduces this 150 lb carcass
to only 120 lbs of saleable retail cuts —
chops, hams, bacon, ribs and sausage—that
the retailer wraps and puts on display in the
meat case.
Figures are averages taken from actual cut out
- tests . Carcass data vary, depending on cutting method
and type of hog'.

The retailer must price his pork so he sells it all
with no picnics, hocks or ribs left over.

4L. It pours.
New AAtrex 4L is the brand of atrazine that pours.
This special liquified product controls most annual
grass and broadleaf weeds in corn and sorghum
right up to harvest just like AAtrex wettable
powder.
But with AAtrex 4L there's no premixing.
You simply shake and pour it directly into the tank.
And apply in a minimum of 10 gallons of water
per acre.
Easier handling. A minimum of agitation.
And less chance of nozzle and screen plugging.
That’s AAtrex 4L. And we have it. In 1 gal. jugs
and cartons.
