What is 4-H? What does it do? Who is it for? The answers to these and other questions to these and other questions were interpreted in poster form by the 4-H’ers. The top 11 entries will be sent on to state competition in March. Summer Feed Program Book Now Available The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced the availability of a brochure, “Special Summer Feeding Program for Children,” which explains the objectives of the summer feeding program and outlines responsibilities at all levels of program operation. The brochure is the first in a series of informational and planning materials to be made available this week. Among these forthcoming materials are site application forms. The Department on Feb. 15 announced proposed changes in the regulations governing the operation of the summer feeding program.
