The desire of those who have
been members of the FFA in the
past to become involved and join
together in a united effort has led
to the establishment of the
National FFA Alumni
Association of which the
Manheim FFA Alumni Chapter
will be a local affiliate.
According to the FFA Advisor,
Glenn Weber, the purpose of the
local Alumni Chapter will be to
help educate others in the
community in modern
agriculture, to help build con
fidence m todays FFA members
and provide inspiration and
moral guidance and to keep
former members informed about
the growth of the local Chapter.
He stated that “many former
FFA members have become
leaders in business and in local
government and now these
successful former members want
to insure that students today
continue to have the same op
portunities that have allowed
them to achieve their goals.”
Membership is open to former
active, collegiate or honorary
FFA members, and both present
and former professional
vocational agriculture teachers.
All former Manheim FFA
members and potential alumni
members are encouraged to
attend this important
organizational meeting at 7:30
p.m. February 26.
An investment in today’s youth
is an investment in the future of
the community and nation. Help
to strengthen agriculture by
loining the FFA Alumni.
