Mrs. Ronald Gordley served as cohostess and presented the devotions. There were 24 members present. The president, Mrs. Jay Wit mer, had charge of the business meeting. Reports were given by Mrs. Marlin Hosier and Mrs. Paul Donough, delegates to the Farm Women Convention in Harrisburg. Six members had perfect at tendance for the past year. They are: Mrs. Blodwen Brandt, Mrs. Fred Hahn, Mrs. Warren Kline, Mrs. Earl Petticoffer, Mrs. Ronald Gordley and Mrs. Roy Shelly. The members of the Society voted to adopt a patient from the Harrisburg State Hospital. They will make bed pads for the Dunkard Brethren Home on Tuesday, January 30 Hostesses were Mrs. Joseph Greiner, Mrs. Bernard Thome, Mrs Leroy Dale and Mrs Minnie Kolp. Farm Women Society 7 held its monthly meeting at the Landis Homes on Saturday, January 13. The hostess was Mrs. Emma Denlinger. Mrs Lehman, wife of the manager of Landis Homes, had devotions. The Lititz Senior Citizens band, the Kitchen-Aires, provided the entertainment. A few of the selections were “Winter Won derland”, “Yankee Doodle Dandy”, “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand” and many more. The new officers took over the meeting They are: Mrs. Kay Rohrer, president; Mrs. Edna Jean Homsher, vice-president; Mrs. Gladys Smeltz, secretary, and Mrs. Martha Landis, treasurer. A new committee was formed.
