Organic Farmers To Meet An organizational meeting for the newly formed Pennsylvania Organic Farmers Association will be held at the Organic Mar ket, 601 West Lemon Street, Lan caster, on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Under discussion will be the nature of today’s organic foods market and the methods that organic farmers must employ to meet the needs of both retailers and consumers. The proposed association will be a non-profit, cooperative, effort managed and directed by farmer members. The intent of the organization is to com municate with and coordinate the activities of those involved in the production and distribution of organic food products grown throughout Pennsylvania. Merger to Manage Mennonite Foundation Luke R. Bomberger, corporate treasurer, financial manager and member of the Victor F. Weaver board of directors recently resigned his Weaver posts to become head of the Mennonite Foundation’s Lancaster Office. Recently at a banquet held in his honor, Bomberger was recognized for outstanding service and dedication during his 20 years of employment with the company.
