Wayne Stanton Oxford FFA Chapter Wayne Stanton is president of the Oxford FFA Chapter at Oxford Area High School. He has held the offices of assistant secretary and secretary in his local Chapter, and also serves Chester County as secretary. Activities in the Chapter in clude parliamentary procedure team, State FFA days at Penn ftu; Dutchman. Robert Tercha Brandywine Heights FFA Robert Tercha, a senior at Brandywine Heights Area Senior High School in Topton, is serving his local Chapter as president and is sentinel of the Berks County FFA Chapter. Robert was Chapter president during his junior year and vice president as a sophomore student. He previously served as correcponding secretary of the Berks Chapter. He attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City. He exhibited beef and swine at the Allentown, Reading, Kutz town, and Oley Valley Com munity Fairs. He also entered exhibits in com, small grains and vegetables in the fairs. Nevin Mast Twin Valley FFA Nevin Mast is the 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi W. Mast of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Oley. Nevin is president of the Twin Valley FFA Chapter. He previously served the Chapter as vice-president, and is also vice president of the Berks County FFA. Nevin received the Greenhand degree, Chapter Farmer Degree, and the Berks County Degr« e. He also par ticipated in local, county, area and regional public speaking contests, placing second in county, third in area and fifth in regional contests. He took first place in the Berks County FFA Dairy Judging Contest in 1971 and second in 1972. His farming program has consisted of swine fattening and dairy animals. He presently has six head of cattle. He recently was selected as the second place winner in the Berks County Elks Club YouHi Leadership Contest. Nevin hopes to operate and eventually own his fathers farm, which is currently being rented to an uncle due to his fathers ill health. He plans to run for State FFA office, and would like to continue his education m the dairy husbandry field. V — l Donald Christman Kutztown FFA Chapter Donald Christman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl R. Christman, Maxatawny, is a senior vo-ag student at Kutztown Area High School. Donald received the Greenhand Degree, Chapter Farmer Degree, and Berks County Degree. He has held the offices of assistant reporter, reporter, vice-president, County delegate, and parliamentarian He won the National FFA Foundation Medal in Home Improvement and poultry, a silver medal in the State project book contest, and placed in County corn contests He has been a dairy exhibitor at the Kutztown Fair, and judged in the the dairy judging contest at Kutztown Fair for three years. He also participated in the dairy judging contest at Penn State during FFA Activities Week, and took seventh place in the farm mechanics contest during FFA Week His supervised farming program has consisted of dairy animals, field corn, garden, and Home Improvement James Stein Governor Mifflin Chapter James Stein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stein, Mohnton, is a 1972 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School He has served the Governor Mifflin FFA Chapter as vice-president and president, as well as Berks County FFA vice president. James represented the Governor Mifflin Chapter in several County contests including the public speaking and parliamentary procedure con tests. He was a floriculture contest entrant in the State FFA contest at Penn State during FFA week. His production enterprises included chrysanthemum production, sheep raising, and a gardening enterprise.
