John Miller Manheim FFA Chapter John Miller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlington Miller, Elm. His farming program consists of four dairy animals, two beef fattening animals, 20 veal calves, two acres of field corn, and six swine fattening animals. He showed the grand champion FFA steer and reserve grand cham pion in the overall show at the Manheim Farm Show and showed dairy animals in local shows. John is serving the Manheim Chapter this year as secretary. He previously was chapla of the local Chapter, and sentinel of the County Red-Rose Chapter. Perry, Ox ford RDI, is a senior at Solanco High School. He is serving as parliamentarian in the Solanco FFA. During his four years in the FFA, Thomas has had steers, veal calves, hogs, corn and hay. He is a member of the Lancaster County 4-H Baby Beef Club. Thomas has participated in the State Livestock Judging contest and attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City as a delegate from the Solanco Chapter. He has had four years experience in showing beef cattle and has shown leadership helping young Chapter members prepare their animals for show Robert Burkhart, son of James H. He' attended the National FFA Convention at Kansas City Bob’s farming program con sisted of swine fattening. He participated in the work ex perience program at the school, which he has found to be profitable to him. Serving as vice-president of a local youth group, Bob an ticipates continuing to be active with the youth. He is also a member of the singing group “New Horizons ” Russel Kline, 17, is a son of Mr and Mrs. Vernon Kline, He is a member of the Cloister FFA Chpater and holds the office of sentinel -Active in local and state shows, Russel has won numerous awards with his Holstein dairy animals.
