Ice Follies
Ice Follies “Spectrum ’73,”
featuring Miss Trixie Schuba,
recent Gold Medal winner at the
1972 Winter Olympic Games in
Sapparo, Japan, is coming to
Hersheypark Arena for a six-day
engagement from Nov. 28 to Dec.
3.
The traditional family show,
offering its own special appeal
for everyone, will play nine
shows in the Arena with per
formances scheduled for
Tuesday through Friday at 8:10
p.m.; Saturday at 1,5 and 9 p.m.;
and Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m.
Ice Follies ’73 heads for Her
shey coming off nothing but
excellent reviews from other
arena dates it has played across
the country. The Los Angeles
Times perhaps summed it up best
with the comment, “the pacing of
this year’s show is such that no
one dares leave his seat for the
duration of the show.”
Joining Miss Schuba is an
incomparable skating cast in
cluding such name performers as
Richard Dwyer, Karen Kresge,
Ricky Inglesi, Susan Berens,
Christy Ito, and the United States
Dance champions, Judy Sch
womeyer and Jim Sladky.

An exciting young black skater,
Atoy Wilson from Los Angeles,
makes his debut with the 1973
edition. The first black ever to be
featured as a solo performer witlr
any major ice show, Wilson
brings a new freshness and
vitality‘fb the art of free skating.
Ricky Inglesi is fast becoming
the ice skating world’s answer to
young pop stars such as Donnie
Osmond and David Cassidy. His
strokes are vigorous and his
figures are well-plotted, resulting
in a certain charm that is all his
own. He’s the teeny-bopper idol of
the Ice Follies presentation.
And of course Charles Schultz’
lovable, floppy-eared beagle.
Snoopy, is back again to sniff out
the hearts of the youngsters in the
crowd. Snoopy on ice has been a
very successful Ice Follies ad
venture, and this season Snoopy
is'featured in a completely new
routine.
The production numbers will
again feature the Ice Folliettes,
plus all the stars, with elaborate
staging, costuming and lighting
effects. Also, according to all
reviews of the show, the best 73

Mr. Frick will be on hand, joined
