People-to -People
On Friday, October 27, 1972,
forty-three Pennsylvania
agricultural leaders will depart
Harrisburg’s International
Airport on the first leg of a 22 day
People-to-People goodwill
mission which will take them to
Japan, Taiwan, The Philippines,
Thailand, Hong Kong and Alaska.
Meetings, interviews,
visitations and receptions are
scheduled throughout the 22 days
as the Pennsylvania delegation
visits with the United States and
foreign government officials and
meets representatives of their
occupational counterparts.
The purpose of their visits will
be to learn, in person, methods
and working conditions and at
tempt to improve relations and
understanding between America
and the people abroad.
