ternationally-accalimed judges,
there always exists that group of
breeders and herdsmen that
think they are better. This is, at
best, an immodest attitude as the
judges for this year’s All-
American came from all parts of
North America two from
Wisconsin and one each from
California, Tennesee, Ohio and
Canada.
Twice each day, during the
judging in the main arena, the
judges initially selected six of the
top cows in a class. Other of
ficials distributed scorecards to
interested railbirds who had an
opportunity to place six animals
in their proper order.
The cards were then collected
and within an hour or so, aided by
computerized grading, a winner
was announced. The winner in
each class received a trophy.

New York City October 1 through
3 with speakers from industry,
government and related groups.
About 7,000 persons are ex
pected to attend sessions
discussing subjects ranging from
wage and price controls,
production, supply to other
problems affecting not only the
industry but the nation.
