Mike Bollinger, seated, and Gerald Musser took first and
second prizes, respectively at the FFA tractor driving contest
held on Tuesday at the Ephrata Fair.
A pair of champion market hogs sold for 52-cents a pound
at the close of last week's Solanco Fair in Quarryville. Elmer
Martin, right bought the hogs for Martin's Garden Spot Meat
Products. Rick Tindall, left, raised and exhibited the porkers.
Marlin Smoker, left, and Richard Bollinger captured the
reserve champion title in the Ephrata Fair hog show on
Thursday. The hog was a joint venture for the two Ephrata
High School students.
