Plans Junior Show
The Silver Spurs 4-H Horse
and Pony Club will hold its junior
show at John Click’s, Bareville,
Saturday, September 30 starting
at 12 noon.
There will be English and
Western Classes. The show is
open to all youths who are 18
years old as of January 1, 1972
and younger.

A two-wheel maneuverability test was part of the tractor
driving competition at the Solanco Fair this week. Con
testants had to hitch up to a two-wheel spreader in a tight
pen (above), manuever it through a roped off area (below),
and return it to the pen.

poultry judging for Pennsylvania at the Eastern Exposition
held Sept. 14 at Springfield, Mass. Kevin Rohrer (left) placed
sixth individually. Rohrer is from Manheim while the other
