Pull!" rang out as FFA teams from throughout Lancaster County competed for the tug-o'-war championship Thursday afternoon at the Solanco Fair. The day’s toughest tuggers proved to be the hometown Solanco team. Three calves were given away after the left won the Guernsey calf, Don Weaver, FFA judging contests held Thursday at the center, won the Ayrshire, and Scott Steffy Solanco Fair. Solanco Scenes Fair Mike Landis, a sophomore at Solanco, exhibited the grand champion feeder pig at the Solanco Fair this week, a cross bred York-Hamp-Duroc.
