September 9. 1972 8 Mrs. Gifting Honored By Fulton Grangers Fulton Grange 66, meeting in regular session at Oakryn August 28, honored Jesse Cutler of Drumore as the Granger of the Year. His name has been entered in the statewide contest of the Pennsylvania State Grange. He has held many local and state positions in community organizations as well as in the Grange. His most recent one has been serving as chairman of the advisory committee which secured the health center for the Southern Lancaster County area located in Quarryville in one year's time. He is still acting as chairman of the advisory board. He is an elder of the Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, building manager of Donegal Presbytery’s camp which serves 26 churches, a member of Lan caster Coutny Transportation committee, which is an advisory committee of the Lancaster County Planning Commission, a member of Lancaster County Family and Children’s Service, president of United Dairy Far mers Co-op of Oxford and a member of many farmer co-ops He was a member of Solanco Fair Association when the fair was organized in 1950, a former member of Solanco School Board and president of the Rural Safety Council In the Grange he has served as Master of the Penn State Grange, Fulton Grange and Lancaster County Pomona Grange In the Pennsylvania State Grange he served as Deputy State Master for Lan caster County, as a member of the Finance committee and of the Legislative committee and manager and treasurer of the Keystone Grange Exchange. Witmer, Willow Street, has completed an official DHIR actual production record of 11,070 pounds of milk and 568 pounds of butterfat in 305 days, two times a day milking, according to The American Guernsey Cattle Club. The testing was supervised by Penn State University. A new feed which contains 10 grams of Methionine Analog per pound. It is designed for use as a “top dress” feed, or for use in Red Rose Supplement mixes. Red Rose customers are getting excellent results with feeds containing Methionine Analog.
